Handgun Silhouette (IHMSA) Clinics and Fun Shoot

The clinics will be held at the Johnson Family Marksmanship Center:

Tuesday, May 13, 2014, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, May 31, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Handgun Silhouette Fun Shoot will be held at the Fried Family Marksmanship Complex:

Saturday, May 31, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

These events are open to junior shooters and senior shooters, and everyone in between, even shooters with limited mobility! You don’t need to attend the Clinics to participate in the Fun Shoot.

Clinic

We will go over the basics of Handgun Silhouette shooting.

Go over some differences between IHMSA and NRA rules.

The different calibers of handguns allowed and examples.

What handguns are normally used and examples.

What the targets are and their distances.

Examples of shooting positions.

Tips on how to hit the targets.

Discussion on reloading for Handgun Silhouette.

Fun Shoot

A chance to experience the fun of handgun silhouette shooting.
