The Gold Medalists (Amanda and Brady) will receive an invitation to attend the 23rd Annual National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships sponsored by USA Shooting. This event will be held at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in April 2016.
Gold Medalists (the State Champions) and scores fired at the Automatic Invitation level (or very high scores) receive automatic invitations to attend the National Junior Olympics. Then, depending upon scores fired at other State Championship events from around the United States, invitations will be sent to additional competitors. The final scores from the state events should be tallied in the next few weeks and invitations will then be sent to the competitors.
These juniors are members of the Bismarck-Mandan Rifle and Pistol Association’s Junior Marksmanship Program. For additional information on the Junior Marksmanship program, please contact Tom Thompson at (701) 255-4601.
