Cowboy Lever, Military Silhouette – April 25, 2010

I hope everyone had a great time. Turned out to be a pretty good day for the match – great morning – got a little windy towards the end – but it wasn’t too bad. Congratulations to the Match Winners Kevin Hertz (Military), Tim Frank (Cowboy Lever Action/Rifle) and Gary Vennie (Cowboy Lever Action/Pistol).

The next Military and Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette matches will be on June 5, then September 5. However, if you’re interested in other rifle silhouette events, there will be matches on June 19, July 24, and the state championship on August 14 and 15. In addition, we will have an M1 Garand and Highpower clinic this Friday (April 30) at the Johnson Family Marksmanship Center, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. This will be followed by an M1 Garand Match on Saturday, May 1, starting at 9:00 a.m. If you have a Garand rifle (or basically any military rifle) bring it out to the Garand Match on Saturday.
